Even during the winter I would recommend a visit to the RBG. They had rainforest section, a number of flowers, and a greenhouse area. Note the screen on the palm tree to keep those darn possums from climbing up and having a feast. I can't remember what type of flower the pink one was but I thought it quite lovely.
