Am I nuts?

So am I just crazy or what? Signing up for a 2nd Ironman when I haven't even finished the first one? But call me compulsive. Call me looney. But it was calling me. Wanting me. It's in my own backyard for heaven's sake. Last year doing the 1/2 Ironman, I decided that that race was the hardest thing I had ever done. Now, with just a couple of weeks out, I'm really not too nervous about it. Come June, well, that's a different story. Anyhow, bring it on!

And for those triathletes out there in the world that are not familiar with my home state, St. George is awfully beautiful. Great time of the year as well. You will NOT be disappointed. Come on out. Let me show you MY home.

I had registered for two IMs before I did my first and it is a weird feeling but now I've done seven and I not exactly talented so just hit it and have a good time and things will probably work out.

I couldn't pass on St. George. being from Albuquerque I love the scenery and I have been wanting to get to St. George and race ever since I heard about it at the Ogden marathon. My wife and I are really looking forward to this.

It's great to already get to know some of the faces that will be in that happy crowd at waters edge on May 1st 2010. I think this will be an excellent race, I'm hopeful it will be every bit as good as IMCdA.

If it were in my backyard, I couldn't resist either.

This might be one for me to consider in 2011. It was hard enough for me to train for CDA. (We have some wicked spring storms here). May 1st might be a little too early in the year for me. But who knows. I know the area is just beautiful.

I'm looking forward to seeing the bike profile map, though.

Whoa. I am going with yes, you are nuts!

I am still stunned stupid that I am doing CdA (or should I say attempting?) But still, if they started one up in my backyard I would be tempted as well. Good for you! And Happy belated birthday to your little beauty!
